ELECTRA after Sophocles | March to April 2027
The King Black Box, with generous support from Koffler Arts
A daughter can’t stop grieving in a house that has already moved on.
Electra has spent years refusing to forgive her father’s murder, or the mother she believes was behind it. Trapped between a sister who chose survival and a brother who may never come home, she is the one person in the family still keeping score, and the pressure of that vigil is about to break the house open.
Sophocles, pulled into present-day Toronto, where grief becomes identity.
