Grisha Pasternak is a multifaceted filmmaker, mentor, and artist with a passion for storytelling in all its forms. A former student of Toronto Metropolitan University’s prestigious film program, Grisha has honed his craft through a diverse portfolio that includes short films, music videos, and spec commercials. With feature films on the horizon, his creative journey continues to evolve, pushing the boundaries of his artistic vision.

With over 15 years of experience as an actor in the entertainment industry, Grisha brings a unique perspective to his work, blending his on-camera expertise with his behind-the-scenes prowess. This dual lens informs his commitment to creating dynamic and inclusive spaces for artistic exploration in theatre.

As the executive director of The King Black Box (TKBB), Grisha is dedicated to fostering a vibrant community where emerging and established artists alike can develop, collaborate, and thrive. His vision for TKBB extends beyond theatre, offering a space where actors and creatives can experiment, grow, and rediscover the joy of storytelling.
